What is a Transformation Zone School? $400,000
Transformation Zone schools are low-performing schools with letter grades
of D or F that have high turnover among teachers and administrators; a
higher rate of teacher absenteeism; a higher-than-average percentage
of teachers working outside of their certification area; and high rates of
truancy among students.
