VERY IMPORTANT - Because of all the Tylenol with codeine, you want to
make sure to have a good stool softener. I used Herbalax, from Shaklee,
which is a natural stool softener. Thank goodness I had it, because I got
backed up! No one told me that when you take a lot of codeine, you get
constipated. This is one problem you don't want to add if you're going
through any type of surgery. Every little thing helps and this is another sure-
fire thing to help you through this. Promise.

December 12 Monday

Today I experienced the eye suturers poking again. It happened only one
time and last for about 3 to 5 minutes.

I can’t believe it’s the night before I get the plaque off. The week had passed
with very little difficulty, nothing close to what I’d imagined. I never felt the
plaque, only the sutures a few times. It was almost over.

I’m reminded again, about the text conversation I’d had with that gal named
Terri. I’m so happy I decided not listen to her, because my experience was
totally different. I can’t imagine the additional stress and fear I would have
had, had I not cleared (for the most part) my head from that
conversation. Thank goodness for my dear friend Lori. She was right. This
was my experience, not her's and how I walked through it and thought about it
would be different… and it was.

Mom drove down to spend the night again. I’m so glad. Having my mom with
me the night before, was such a relief. Jay and I set up the spare/office
bedroom like before. We got her all set up and cozy.
