Another ornament... I'm addicted!

I also made a Christmas ornament
for Mike and Craig of their cabin.
It really came out cute!
I also filled out my Christmas cards, which made me happy. Getting them
done early made me feel good. I was glad I was focusing my attention on
things that made me happy. It was helping. I even saw my first bear up here,
right out my window, while writing a card to a friend! He walked right up from the lake!

I’d been coming to Tahoe my whole life and I never saw a bear. Then, as I was writing
a Christmas card to my friend Todd, there was the bear. I'd always wanted to see a
bear. I loved bears! What a special treat! Hi Mr. Bear… There you are! He was only
about 50 feet away. I was so darn excited, I began running around the cabin looking for
my binoculars to get a closer look. Of course, I couldn’t find them, because I was too
darn excited. By the time I looked out the window again, there he went. Underneath
the next cabins porch and on his way down the lake. I could see his bottom slowly
swaying back and forth as he melted away in the shadows. He was gone. What a
treat! Mom always says, sometimes you must find your own happiness or make your
own happiness each day. Well, Mr. Bear just made this day. The happiness found
me. What a GREAT day! Thank you, Mr. Bear.
