5 Time Saving Tech Tips

Tip #1 Super speedy
To speed up texting, double tap the space bar at the end of the sentence,
you will get a period, space and the next letter will be capitalized.
Tip #2 Relive that eye strain
Searching for keywords in a web page or long document? Ctrl + F will open a search box for you.
Tip #3 Knowing which end is up
Have you ever accidentally jammed a USB cable into your machine upside down? Look for the trident on
the plug, that is UP. No trident, look for the seam in the metal, that is DOWN. Don’t worry, technology
has a fix for this annoying problem, coming soon, the new USB type-C is a reversible connector.
Tip #4 End of the web, don’t go there!
Go straight to the search results you want by using quotation marks when searching for an exact words
in order; example “Atlanta Falcons Football” Use a hyphen to exclude a word, example “Falcon –
football” to reduce the number of results that relate to the football team rather than the animal.

Quickly lock your computer screen every time you leave your desk. Press the Windows key + L
