St. Stanislaus was established in 1923 by Eastern European farming immigrants in the area. Father Joseph A. Balcerak was its rst priest, and the present church opened in 1930 with Rochester Bishop John F. O’Hern presiding at the dedication. Today, in addition to its year-round community, St. Stanislaus also welcomes many summer visitors to nearby lakes.
