St. Patrick’s was founded in 1875 with Father Peter O’Connell as pastor. That year parishioners erected a wooden church and worshipped there for more than 90 years. In 1964 the cornerstone was laid for the current church. The rst Mass was held inside the new church in 1965, and the building was completed in 1966 and dedicated in 1969 by Bishop Fulton J. Sheen. St. Patrick’s was a mission of St. John’s for most of its existence.
