Immaculate Heart of Mary Church
St. Vincent de Paul was established in 1913 for a growing number of Catholics on the city’s north side. The parish’s rst church building, located at the corner of Flint Avenue and Ellicott Street, was dedicated the following year by Rochester Bishop Thomas F. Hickey, with Father John A. Conway as founding pastor. St. Vincent’s current church was dedicated in 1955 by Bishop James E. Kearney.
All Saints’ most recently established faith commu- nity, Immaculate Heart of Mary, was founded in 1951 for Catholics in the village of Painted Post just west of Corning. The only church building in its history was dedicated in 1953 by Bishop Kearney. Father Harold F. Rogers, the rst pastor, would go on to serve the Immaculate Heart of Mary community for some 30 years.
The three churches came together as All Saints Parish in 2001.
