band, learn the basics, or keep your talents sharp,
everyone has to get started somewhere.
Singer/songwriter John Ellis has been playing guitar
for 30 years and recording music for 20. Now he wants to
share his knowledge with the community.
He will tailor the lesson to help each student to meet their goals.
John offers beginner to intermediate guitar and beginner bass
lessons in Chester and surrounding areas. Lessons can be
scheduled in your home or in his home. He can offer a
professional perspective and provide constructive feedback. With
his knowledge of the guitar and proper technique he is able to FIRST ALBUM RELEASED JULY 6

John has been a long time member of VOCAL (Virginia
Organization of Composers and Lyricists), a songwriter group in Richmond,
Virginia. During his time with VOCAL he served as activities director for five
years scheduling events, working with songwriters and bands to mix sound
for the live shows. He continues to be active with VOCAL as a member.
John has a few gigs coming up with appearances at O’Toole’s
Restaurant and Pub for the VOCAL Showcase (Monday, September 18,
2017) and Midnight Brewery in Rockville (Friday, October 6, 2017).
Just releasing his first album “Introduction” in July with more to
