7-Night Semi-Escorted Tour
Day 01: Arrive Rome
On arrival in Rome, you have a private transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at
leisure.
Day 02: Discover Rome
Enjoy an American buffet breakfast at your hotel. In the morning you will enjoy a 3 hr
“Discovering Rome” walking tour. You will be picked up at your hotel at about 9.00am.
The tour will start from Largo Argentina and continue to, Piazza Navona, Panthe-
on, Trevi Fountain, the tour will end at the Spanish steps (make your own way back
to your hotel or freely tour Rome independently from here). The rest of the day at
leisure. Overnight in Rome. (B)
Day 03: Rome -Naples - Pompeii - Sorrento
Pick up from the hotel will be at 6:30 am, with an early departure from the tour
departure office in Rome (7:30 am). Please confirm a boxed breakfast with the hotel
the night before to take with you this morning. Making our way south to Naples, on
arrival our local guide will take us for a walking tour of the historical center to admire
Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, Piazza del Municipio, the Gallery of Umberto
I, the San Carlo Opera House. Upon leaving the city, continue to Pompeii. Proceed
to Sorrento, the gateway of Amalfi coast with its colorful historical center and pretty
waterfront with fishing boats and new Marina Grande cruise pier. Check in at the
hotel in Sorrento, dinner and overnight. (BB*, D)
Day 04: Sorrento - Capri - Sorrento
American buffet breakfast at the hotel, and departure at 7:30 am to the Isle of Capri.
You will board the ferry and arrive in Marina Grande. Once on the island you will visit,
the Blue Grotto (weather permitting), and stop at the famous Piazzetta. A Minibus
will take you up to Anacapri. After lunch in Anacapri, you will return to Marina Grande
where you will board the ferry for your transfer back to Sorrento. Dinner and

Day 05: Sorrento - Positano - Amalfi
After your American buffet breakfast at the hotel, depart for Amalfi at 9:30 am via

Day 08: Rome to U.S. Rome: Hotel Gambrinus/Rivoli (3 nights)
