6-Night Escorted Tour
Day 01, Saturday: Milan - Lake Como
Arrive at Milan Airport, where a private transfer awaits. Head to the stunning shores
of Lake Como (approx 1.5 hours), surrounded by majestic peaks and dotted with
enchanting lakeside towns. Overnight in Lake Como.
Day 02, Sunday: Lake Como
The best way to explore the lake is by boat, and for your first full day, we
recommend purchasing a centre lake ticket to easily explore the picturesque towns
dotted around the lake. Some of the highlights include strolling down the sunny
promenades of Menaggio or Tremezzo, and wandering round the cosy souvenir
shops of Varenna’s grey cobbled streets. Lake Como also boasts an abundance of
pretty cafes and restaurants, so you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to finding
somewhere for your evening meal. (B)
Day 03, Monday: Lake Como - St. Moritza and the Berina Express. (Passport
Required)
This shared group excursion takes you along the northern part of the lake to the
town of Tirano where we stop for coffee before proceeding into Switzerland and
reach Poschiavo. Part of this excursion is done with the well-known panoramic
Bernina Express train (a one hour journey). We will see the White Lake and the Black
Lake and plenty of breathtaking glaciers. Then, by bus, reach St. Moritz. The famous
Swiss holiday and ski resort is on the southern side of the Alps in the Engadine Valley
with its numerous crystal clear mountain lakes. On our return, we stop in Chiavenna
and have some free time before returning to Como at about 6:45 pm. Overnight in
Lake Como. (B)
Day 04, Tuesday: Lake Como. Today is a free day in Lake Como
A free day to enjoy the beautiful Lake Como area. Overnight in Lake Como. (B)

Day 05, Wednesday: Lake Como - Venice
After breakfast, depart by train and travel to Venice. (B)
Day 06, Thursday: Venice
After breakfast this morning, we enjoy a walking city tour which starts at St. Mark’s
Square. We visit the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica, and view the Bell Tower
and the Bridge of Sighs. The tour ends with a visit to a glass blowing factory where
you will see a demonstration of a traditional Venetian glass blowing. The rest of the
day is at leisure. Enjoy Venice at your own pace, shop or take an optional gondola
ride. (B)
Day 07, Friday: Venice - U.S.
Private transfer to Venice airport for your return flight home. (B)
