Next, remove the four bolts using a 3/4” wrench. It is important to note that these bolts are not overly tight. They should remove easily. Remember that when putting them back in. Tighten down, then loosen by about half a turn. Set all four of them aside.

With the airbag bracket bolts removed, you can see the rubber bushings. This one looked okay at first glance. Upon closer inspection the rubber was cracked in a few spots. The other three showed similar fatigue.
It is important to mention at this point, you could replace the entire airbag bracket with fresh embedded rubber bushings. I guess if you are

have seen the brackets for as much as $90. Doing so would give you peace of mind that the OEM part is there, under the airbag, for no one to see.

There is another option. Did I mention this option might be the cheapest Porsche fix ever? Head down to Home Depot. Pick up a pack of #31 O-Rings for $2.89. They come in packs of 10. You will need eight.

The next step is rather straightforward. Smoosh the #31 O-Rings in place as shown. Do so on all four front bushings. Sometimes
