case halves are bolted and sealed together with a lot of bolts. This leaves three con- necting rods inside the cylinders on bank two, and 3 pistons still sitting on your bench. How to connect these together is the trickiest part of rebuilding these engines, and many professionals have screwed up big time here. If you make a mistake with the wrist pin insertion, then you have to unbolt the case halves, separate the two to fish out your wrist pin clip, clean everything, put it all back together and try again. Since you have three rods to connect, you have three opportunities to screw it up. Since that is a pretty exten- sive procedure, we will tackle that process next issue.
