her stuff, and I looked down and it said, Diary. So I picked it up.......am I
supposed to look in a girl’s diary? I guess I am not, but I did. We had
been dating for a little while. I opened it, and it was for today’s date and
said, I hope he tries to kiss me tonight. Diaries are for precious things,
and God has a diary. I am letting out some secrets here! God has a
        diary, and it is precious.

What does He write in His diary? You see, you are going through some
hard times and you say, oh, nobody sees, nobody cares. God cares. It is
in His diary. He writes it down in His diary. God has a bottle and God
has a book. You read it in the Psalms and you might think “big deal.”
God has a bottle; God has a book. I will tell you, friend, it is a big deal,
a very BIG deal. All your tears are kept in His bottle. All your
wanderings are kept in His book. In Malachi chapter 3:16 there is
mention of another “Book of Remembrance”,

“Then they that feared Jehovah spake one with another; and Jehovah
hearkened, and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before
him, for them that feared Jehovah, that thought upon his name.”

Imagine that! Every time two or three gather in His Name the Lord
writes it in His diary. Permission to stop reading and get up to dance!

        Look at Psalm 77:19,

“Your way was in the sea and Your paths in the mighty waters,
and Your footprints may not be known.”

I have never been to the Holy Land, but I have seen several slide
presentations. Everything is commercialized now. You know, they try
to immortalize the steps where our Savior walked and almost every place
He walked there is a cathedral and there is some kind of church. Except
for one place. There is no cathedral on the Sea of Galilee. Do you know
why? They will say He walked on that water but they can’t point to it. I
say, show me the path. Where did He walk? They cannot find the path
that He walked. If He walked in the sand He would leave footprints. If
you walk on the water, you do not leave footprints. Psalm 77 says,

“His ways are on the water in order that His steps may not be known.”

For years when I thought of God walking on the water, I always thought
of authority. You know, He is walking on the storm. He is in charge.
He is sovereign. Authority. That is true, but that is not the truth of
