Chapter 19 1 The Fullness of God 3:10-19

The third principle we see from Paul’s great prayer and song, is
concerned with becoming an “All-dimensional Christian”. Read
these verses again,

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, and that
you be rooted and grounded in love, and may be able to
comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and
length and height and depth and know the love of Christ that
surpasses knowledge.”

An “all-dimensional Christian”. I’ll tell you what I don’t mean by
that. I don’t mean “balanced”. I’ve had people tell me
something like this, “Yes, we would like you to come speak
because we need your emphasis also. We want to hear about
serving God, and working hard for Him. But then, every now and
then, we want to hear about the fullness of Christ. There’s no
such thing! That’s not balanced. That’s unbalanced, awkward
and lopsided. Christ alone, is the balanced truth. The message
of pure grace alone. When you look to Jesus Christ alone, then
you will have a balanced message.
