God-like! Here is the truth. It’s in Jesus. When I see Jesus, by
faith I am transformed. I share His life. My life is excluded. We
share His victory. I don’t try to quit sin. I pursue God. I am
transformed into His likeness. Let’s say that you felt bitterness
for someone. Victory over your nature would be something like
this. “Hateful old cat. I can’t stand her! But now, because I’m a
Christian, I won’t kill her.” That’s victory over your nature? Here
is victory from your nature. “Hateful old cat. I can’t stand her, but
God can. God loves her. Not my will, but thine to do”

I give up trying, and I yield myself to the life of God. You see,
the transformation that comes through seeing Him, is complete.
It’s not tearing down, but actually, a building up. It’s real
through and through I WILL be transformed. Verses 30-32,
Christ will “Be formed in me”. And His life will flow through me.
Verse 4:32, I will “Forgive just as Christ has forgiven”. Verse
5:1, I will “Be an imitator of Christ”. Verse 5:25, “Husbands
will love their wives as Christ loved the church”.

Now you know why I took so much time showing you the
foundation. Otherwise, you would think you should try to be real,
and you would try to stop sinning. You would work hard at being
kind, being forgiving, being honest and tender hearted. The only
answer is to appropriate the life of God, excluded from your own
        life.

As natural as breathing. Matthew 5:3 & 6,

“All these things will be added”

“How blessed are those who are out of breath (poor in spirit).

Theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.”

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after
        righteousness: they shall be filled.”
