ADMINISTRATOR’S LETTER
Dearest Team Members,
This is one of my favorite times of the year, the leaves are changing
color, pumpkin spice lattes are being served (mine is decaf), and
football season is finally here. I don’t know about you, but the
competition has commenced in my house, as I am a Ravens fan while
my husband Gregg is a Philadelphia Eagles fan (I know!). On Football
Friday’s, one of our daughters is dressed in Ravens gear and our other
daughter is dressed in Eagles gear to go to daycare – the excitement is
palpable!!
Another fall favorite of mine is caramel apples. Please join us on Friday, September 27th at 2pm in
the Administrative Suite to enjoy a Caramel Apple Making Potluck Party to kick off fall and to
engage with each other!
Please also mark Saturday, September 28 on your calendars for the Coach Q 5K, an event
th
benefiting the Kristie Quigley Foundation in memory of Kristie Trionfo Quigley and Jackson
Quigley. An inspiring event to celebrate life, donate to charities, and to together run/walk towards
a healthier you! A good opportunity to get your steps in, as we begin a new Healthy in Imaging
Challenge to beat Irene Struever, the highest step achiever at Bayview Medical Center! Bring it on
Irene!
Put your hands together for Alisha Dunlap, another imaging high achiever, as she has been
selected to be our Johns Hopkins Bayview team member, to participate in the JHM Radiology
Future Leaders Program! Congratulations Alisha! You will have a blast; some recent Future
Leader graduates have been Dave Santmyer and Grace Guas.
I also wanted to give a big round of applause and thank you to Dr. Kamel and Kim Scelsi for
coordinating and organizing an incredible Crab Feast Event at Jimmy’s Famous Seafood on
August 29th. I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to eat crabs and converse with everyone. It was
certainly an event to remember! Big thanks to Kelly Fuchs for working in CT the night of the crab
feast, to allow some of the CT staff to join in the fun.
Speaking of fun, on Thursday September 5th, I was able to round with the evening shift and as
always, was impressed! I am always learning so much about your workflow and appreciate your
time teaching me the various components and challenges of your job and where we can continue
to improve our processes. I look forward to my October 9th evening/night rounds with you!
As always, thanks for all the hard work you do, each and every day!
