ADMINISTRATOR’S LETTER

                                         Dear Imaging Friends,

Spring is here, the campus is greener, and I’m looking forward to
                                         increase my steps outside!

As we start the new month, I wanted to thank each of you for taking
the Gallup Employee Engagement Survey. I appreciate you taking

the time to give me your honest feedback on what is going well
within the department and which areas need improvement. I
anticipate the results to come back in June or July for us to review
                                         and discuss with you further.

With employee engagement always a focus point, the department continues to host internal
events to bring teams together. This month of April, a fun event has been planned to host a
Banana Split Breakfast on Friday April 12th from 7:30am- 9:30am in the Administrative Suite.
We look forward to see teammates from night shift and day shift indulging in this “sweet yet
           healthy” event together!

You know what else is sweet? The increased usage of our Voalte phones AND the NEW Rover
system. Bayview was the FIRST hospital within the Johns Hopkins Health System to
implement Rover and special kudos to the Diagnostic team for embracing this new technology.
Rover aims to help improve efficiency to the technologists, to confirm the right patient, right
exam, at the right time. We have learned that there are additional ways to improve system
(utilizing bar code scaning) and are working with the Epic team to make those changes. I
wanted to especially recognize the Top 5 Diagnostic Technologists that have had the highest
usage of the Rover system: Prince Agishi, Melissa Gensel, Sylvius Wininga, Rachel Ballantine,
and Katie Wehr. Thank YOU for your commitment to use this new technology.

In addition to the technology advancements within the department, Bivarus has also been a new
forum that we have utilized to better understand how our patients feel when receiving care at
Bayview. The tool allows us to receive prompt feedback from patients on how we are doing. For
the past TWO MONTHS – the Interventional Radiology team has won the HIGHEST Bivarus

scores! Kudos to the IR and Nursing teams for the exceptional service to our patients and for
creating an ever-lasting experience and impression!

For more updates and the opportunity to ask questions to Imaging Leadership, I welcome you
to join me and our team on April 29th, in the Imaging Conference Room, for our Quarterly
Town Hall meeting, at 8am, 12pm, and 3pm. We choose these times to ensure that majority of
shifts can attend for departmental, hospital, and JHM updates. Light snacks and refreshments
           will be provided!

As always, thanks for all that you do each and every day to serve our patients and each other!

           Emily Lee
