ADMINISTRATOR’S LETTER
Dearest Imaging Team Members,
I hope everyone has an opportunity this summer to
take some time off and enjoy some much-deserved
rest; at home or while safely traveling! You all have
been putting in tremendous number of hours to take
care of our patients and I want to thank you for your
continuous dedication, commitment and resilience.
We have officially kicked off the new fiscal year of FY21
and are looking to ease back into normal operations,
while still in the midst of the global COVID-19
pandemic. As COVID-19 infections continue to remain
steady and/or grow, I ask that all of our team members
continue to wear their masks (above their nose) in
addition to the face shields when involved within direct patient care. Please also keep in mind
that masking is not a replacement for social distancing. We must remain vigilant in our social
distancing duties as well, when in the control rooms, in the hallways, and throughout the
medical center. Thus far we are seeing that the appropriate use of PPE, has a tremendous
impact on keeping us and our families safe!
Some FY21 capital projects to make you aware of as we begin the design phases, are our new
Tomo/General Radiology room in which we will install a new Philips C90 system. In addition,
we will be replacing our existing Fluoroscopy room with a new state-of the art Siemens fluoro
room.
To wrap up FY20, your managers will be meeting with you soon, to finalize you FY20 annual
reviews and to begin planning your new FY21 goals. Should you have specific interests and/or
recommendations for the department this year, please feel free to email me. I’m also
interested in your recognition of each other for going above and beyond your normal daily
tasks.
Thank you again for ALL that you do!
To Your Health,
Emily Lee
