3 Congo DR i Successful implementation of RTGS, ACH and CTS for
Central Bank of Congo Dr
In February 2017, Access Bank DR Congo was selected as
one of the five banks out of the total number of twenty one,
to pilot the implementation of the RTGS, ACH and CTS proj-
ect of the Central Bank of DR Congo. This was successfully
implemented in September 30, 2017.
ii Won accolades from the Central Bank of Congo Dr and
Ministry of Finance for National Civil Servants Payment
Programme.
In July 2017, Access Bank DR Congo was one of the three
Banks adjudged to have performed excellently in the na-
tional civil servant payment programme in the first half of
the year by the committee set up by the Central Bank of DR
Congo and the Ministry of Finance.
iii Increased brand visibility by opening 3 new branches
and 6 (six) Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)
Successful opening of three new branches during the
year thus improving the Bank’s visibility and accessibility in
the three very important provinces in DR Congo namely
Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Matadi. We have also onboarded
additional 8,500 local ATM card users, thus increasing our lo-
cal ATM card base from 11,000 in 2016 to 19,500 at the end
of November 2017.
iv Secured the mandate for the payment of additional
30,000 Civil Servants in 2017.
Through this mandate, we successfully on-boarded an addi-
tional 13,000 civil servant salary accounts during the year.
4 Zambia i National Pension Scheme Authority (‘NAPSA’)
Collection Platform:
Implementation of a robust National Pension Scheme Au-
thority (‘NAPSA’) collections platform.
ii Multi-Channel Support Award:
Access Bank Zambia was awarded the ‘2017 Efficient
Utilization of Multi-Channel Support Award’ by Zambian
Institute of Customer Management (ZICM)
iii Corporate Social Responsibility:
Access Bank Zambia Partnered with the University Teach-
ing hospital and trade king to donate mother and baby
hampers, bed sheets and cleaning materials and other
items to the maternal health ward

Establishment of Teller Implant at Gambia Revenue Authori-
ty Corporate Head Office in Banjul.
