A goal or objective
Consists of a projected state of affairs which a person or a system plans or
intends to achieve or bring about — a personal or organizational desired end-point
in some sort of assumed development. Many people endeavor to reach goals within
a finite time by settingdeadlines.
The flow diagram represents how various inputs and actions towards focused
organizational goals lead to results. Knowledge management contributes towards
streamlining the ideas, problems, projects and deployment in light of organizational
goals driving towards productivity.
TYPES OF GOALS:
Part of the reason why goal setting fails is that people don‘t understand the
different types of goals and how to treat them. Goals may involve:
Developing a new skill or improving current skills.
Beating old habits, or developing better ones.
Producing an outcome, achieving a dream.
