Section 1: COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NC II QUALIFICATIONS
The COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NC II Qualification consists of
competencies that must possess to enable to install and configure computers
systems, set-up computer networks, set-up computer servers and to maintain and
repair computer systems and networks.
A. Course Design:
Course Title : COMPUTER SYSTEM SERVICING (CSS)
Nominal Duration : 268Hours
Qualification Level : NC II
Course Description This course is designed to develop & enhance the
knowledge, skills, & attitudes of a Computer Systems
Service Technician, in accordance with industry
standards. It covers the basic and common
competencies in addition to the core competencies
such as to install and configure computers systems,
set-up computer networks and servers and to
maintain and repair computer systems and networks.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Student/trainee must possess any of the following qualifications;
• Must have completed at least 10 yrs. basic education or an ALS grade 10
Certificate of rating holder
• Can communicate in oral and written language
• Can perform basic mathematical computations
