               Only about 7% of non-motorized boaters belong to a non-motorized boating organization or club, 92% do not.  Any marketing campaign must keep in mind that communicating
               via clubs and boating organizations will only reach a highly targeted audience.  Nonetheless, this audience tends to be the influencers and leaders of the general market.

               Although the canoe is the most commonly owned watercraft and the flatwater kayak is second most common, the flatwater kayak is used most frequently of all boats.  Most
               households that own a canoe only own one.  By comparison, households with flatwater kayaks most often own two or more.  This is likely because a canoe usually has two seats
