New Baltimore Lions Club hosts their WinterFest on the shore of Lake
St. Clair the last weekend in January. They also have other events
that weekend including a chili cook off, live music, and a
fishing derby. The fourth plunge is held by the Kiwanis
Club of Port Huron the first Saturday in December.
Photos in this year's Guide are from the last few years
of the different times we've attended these events which
always provide a lot of laughs at the great costumes and
watching peoples’ faces when they get out of the icy
water.
Several hundred people of all ages take the plunge
at each of these events, so check the web and add
something to your “bucket list” to do.
