total investment through financial assistance to ensure

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
10,648 kids participated in experiences that cultivated values, skills, and relationships that led
to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievement.
Nikolai White participates in our Adaptive Swim Lessons, sports and summer camp.
His mom shares: “Nikolai has grown in confidence and abilities with the different YMCA
programs. It’s amazing to see his excitement and see him be proud of his progress!”
Nikolai is someone we all know very well around the YMCA. He loves working with his
instructor Ms. Daniela who has helped him learn how to put his face in the water and to
confidently go into the deep end of the pool!
HEALTHY LIVING
22,595 individuals were impacted by Y programs designed to help them improve their health and
well-being and connect to new friends.
Amira Scurato joined the Y shortly after turning 65 and that is when she met Claudia
by accident. After stepping in for an impromptu wellness orientation, Amira and
Claudia quickly formed a bond that led to Claudia becoming Amira’s Personal Trainer, a
partnership that has changed Amira’s life. During their time training together, Amira’s
confidence has improved and she has felt challenged to get better every day. Amira’s
time at the Y and with Claudia has allowed her to grow mentally and physically, adding to
her happiness along the way!
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
3,572 children learned life-saving skills through drowning prevention programs while THOUSANDS
of neighbors were served in other mission-based programs at little or no cost thanks to charitable
contributions.
Minnie Ruiz has found solace and nurtured her body, mind, and spirit at the Y. She has been on
a transformative journey, growing alongside her three toddlers. Her family has embraced the
full range of activities from the walking trail to the fitness center, classes, pools and monthly
events. The YMCA has been a haven, source of strength and respite, allowing Minnie to focus
on her health while knowing her children are in good hands. Minnie is grateful for the staff who
make all of this possible.
