INSPIRING IMPACT
Supporting children
with special needs
is a meaningful
passion for longtime
YMCA supporters,
Peter and Paula
Vosotas, whose
nephew’s daughter
has attended YMCA
Camp COAST, a
summer day camp
specifically for
children who are
neurodivergent, at the Clearwater YMCA. They have a personal understanding of how caring for a child with special needs can impact a family emotionally and financially, and when the opportunity to get involved with Camp COAST was needed, they were eager to get involved and support the program.
At camp, children enjoy a comfortable, safe, fun and nurturing environment designed to meet the needs of children who are considered high functioning on the autism spectrum. In addition to daily summer camp activities, campers attend weekly field trips to provide an enriching experience, along the lines of traditional summer camps.
The Vosotas wanted to make a gift that will last for generations to come to help families and these special children. They established a Legacy Endowment Fund with the YMCA to provide scholarships to at-risk families so that children in need will have the opportunity to attend Camp COAST regardless of their ability to pay.
Generous donors like the Vosotas help the Y to create lasting change for the individuals, families and communities that we serve.
STRONGER BECAUSE OF... VOLUNTEERS

such as mentoring teens, coaching youth sports, serving on our boards and fundraising. Volunteering not only helps the Y and our communities, but also enhances the personal well-being and relationships of those who serve.
Volunteers are an integral part of the YMCA of the Suncoast. The hard work and dedication of our volunteers allow us
to make a broad and lasting impact on our communities. The more people who volunteer
