How to use this handbook
First of all, let me welcome to the: Guitar Tuition for the Beginner Level 2
This workbook is suitable for both tutors and students. wanting to learn about the guitar
and also most important getting playing. In this particular book the student can look forward
to discover more chords and also their associated keys. There’s loads of space for the
students to write new chords in the charts as they learn with a tutor and in part 2 space for
arranging the chords they have learned into keys.
Throughout the book there are a few links: ‘shorturl’ links : ’ and QR codes, (of which link you
use depends on how you are viewing this book), directs you to accompanying video files, blank
handout sheets, blank practice sheets which you may download and print and also useful
information.
There are four sections in this level to go through, and are fairly straight
forward.

Section 1: How to use this book: QR codes, shortlinks; useful re-cap from level 1:
including: how to write, read and play chords, left and right hand positions.
Section 2: In this section, the student can write new chords which they have
learned during lessons. The pages are arranged alphabetical chord shapes starting
with a commonly known chords associated with A and variations:

ie: A Major, A minor, A Major 7 , A7, Asus4 and so on.. then B, C, D. etc.
(Notes to Student: *There are even more chords variations not listed, but the ones that are
learned and entered into this section are the most common ones required to learn and
partake in Grade 1 exams, if desired.
Plus: There are extra sheets, for additional chords that you may learn with your tutor)
