Chef Umesh’s Indian Night at Ladies’ was an overwhelming success! So much so that attendees will be thrilled to
see that the wonderful new menu includes his delicious Butter Chicken. With many other new and old favourite
offerings, the Clubhouse is hopping these days. We look forward to another Indian Night in the fall.

On Saturday, August 11 at 7:30 pm, Ladies’ is welcoming acclaimed speaker Tom Vassos to the Club for what
promises to be an extremely interesting Speaker Series event. As an author, U of T instructor, and science
advocate, Tom will be inspiring us all with fascinating information about our own solar system and amuse us
with stories about NASA missions, and recent scientific discoveries. Get ready to “take off” into the world of the
unknown! See the Club calendar for more details about this complimentary event. August 11 is also Prime Rib
Night. Please RSVP for both to guarantee you don’t miss out!

The upcoming special dining opportunities include a Chardonnay Wine and Cheese Event on Tuesday, August 14
and Italian Night on Thursday, August 16. On Thursday, August 9, Chef Umesh will be hosting a “cooking class”.

Friday, September 21 - Stratford Trip, “Music Man” (includes transportation, lunch at the
Bruce Hotel and play ticket)
Thursday, October 11 - Maureen Jennings, Murdoch Mysteries Writer

As the summer progresses with wonderful weather and lots of golf, it has been great to see so many successful
events come to fruition at Ladies’. Looking forward to a great second half of the season!
