Dalam Modul III, Anda diharapkan dapat merespon makna dalam teks monolog sederhana
yang menggunakan ragam bahasa lisan secara akurat, lancar dan berterima dalam konteks
kehidupan sehari-hari dalam teks berbentuk analytical exposition.

Listening is a pleasure. It is indeed a pleasure if what is listened is understood. When you

listen you should concentrate your mind and try to understand what you listen to.
When you have difficulty in understanding the text you listen to, just listening further will often
make the text you’re listening to clearer because you will listen to it two times.
Long sentences, or sentences which contain difficult grammatical patterns often cause
comprehension problems.
To overcome these problems, the following exercise will give you opportunity to develop

strategies for overcoming your problems. Good luck.

After learning report and narrative text, it’s time for you to continue the next reading text
type, that is analytical exposition. It’s quite different with those two first, but mostly of their generic
structures are the same. Let’s think about them first, before arriving to the analytical exposition text
type. So, it makes you to understand easily.
