The land-use profile to the west is mainly residential and commercial area with a
transportation hub i.e. KTM Station and Bus Station.
Sensitive public buildings such as SK Kampong Tengah, SK Bukit Hampar, Sekolah
Tinggi Segamat, SK Temenggong Abdul Rahman, SMA Al-Khairiah Segamat, SMK
Conassian Convent and Kolej Jururawat Masyarakat Segamat are located at the
south part of the Plant within the 4 km radius.
The estimated population (during day and night) are given in Table B.5.1.
