B.5.5 Future Land Use Plan
The current land use has been planned based on housing and town planning. Future
land use and development will depend on the demand for commercial, industrial and
agricultural activities together with population growth.
In term of further development and exploitation of the area, no physical industrial or
housing development is allowed alongside of the Sungai Segamat (River) as it is a
sensitive area for water catchment for the water treatment plant.
