Reception S have been exploring our big topic ‘Space’. We had a nature walk around
the school to find natural and man-made objects. The children listened to a story
titled ‘Whatever Next’ and discussed what happened to Baby Bear when he had an
adventure to the moon. The children used their phonic knowledge to label the parts
of a rocket. In Mathematics we counted back and solved problems involving
subtraction.
