And your eyes hide too much of the truth,

And seeing me with my soul bare to the knife in your hands,

Has guilt eating yours.

Before you end this,

Just remember that I came with nothing,

That I’m here anyway

To make you see that you’re all that I have,

And you ending this is crushing you,

Because honestly you never looked so alone,

Like there’s an internal war inside of you,

And it’s a fight that you don’t have to stay and watch.

Before you lift the knife,

Before I watch you fall apart,

Look at me and see what I’m looking at,

A girl so loved but torn by fear inside,

The girl who’s loved but didn’t believe she has it in her

To have love showering her because she deserves it,

You’re saying it, can you listen to yourself?
