A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES

My warmest greetings to the Animation Council of the Philippines,
Inc. (ACPI) as it holds its Animahenasyon 2017: 11th Philippine
Animation Festival.

I laud ACPI for its contributions in the development of modern
visual culture and the advancement of the local animation industry. By
showcasing the original works of both aspiring and professional
animators, we can ensure greater awareness of the sector and cultivate
homegrown talent.
I trust that this festival will inspire and motivate budding artists and
animators to pursue their dreams. May this lead to the further evolution
and growth of the animation industry so that we can open new
opportunities for our countrymen. Together, let us harness
the skills and talents of our people towards nation-building.
