What makes our Self Drive Adventures Unique?

We are called "Your Safari" for a reason - we will make Your Safari Adventure exactly that - "Yours!" by building
a holiday for you based on your requirements and your interests and not to a set itinerary.

Without obligation we offer each guest a consultation with a member of the Your Safari Team so we can
better understand where you want to go, how long you would like to spend there and what level of
accommodation suits you best. Your bespoke itinerary is then created by our Founder and Chief Guide;
Kathryn Haylett. Kathryn has over 18 years of guiding experience in Namibia so when she suggests a tour for
you, you will be safe in the knowledge she has personally driven the roads and visited all the recommended
camps so you can book your adventure with confidence.

In our experience, it takes at least two itineraries to get Your Safari just right for you and we provide proactive
advice and guidance during the process to ensure Your Self Drive Adventure is a memorable one.

Before Your Adventure begins

You will receive a Your Safari Self Drive Leather Wallet containing the following items:

Your full, detailed, day by day itinerary
Rip and water proof map with handmade notations of Your Route
Realistic travelling times between accommodation that factor in tar and gravel driving times
Emergency Contact Telephone Numbers
Sunrise and Sunset Times
Hints and Tips about Namibia
Self Drive Do's and Don’ts
Namibian Immigration Arrival / Departure Forms
Accommodation, Vehicle and Activity Vouchers
Accommodation Contact Lists

You will receive a complimentary copy of Kathryn's book "The Photographer's Guide to Etosha National Park"
to help you get the most out of your trip.

When you arrive in Namibia

You will be met at Windhoek airport and driven the short distance to the car hire depot where you will be
given a comprehensive introduction to your vehicle.

We are able to provide a full range of vehicles from double cab Hilux 4x4's to seven seater Toyoto Land
Cruisers and minibuses for larger groups. We can also supply a comprehensive range of camping equipment
for your vehicle if you have decided to explore Namibia under canvas.

Although sedan cars are available in Namibia, we recommend our guests use 4X4 vehicles.

Your Safari is ATOL protected and we are happy to help you with your flight arrangements for your trip
