2.9.4 ‘Make line’ and Slap Table Monitor Shrouds    Where the slap table/make line doesn’t back

    contractor. The monitors, brackets, small
    power and data points must be installed in
    the usual manner, concealed by the shroud
•	 Sockets, data points, monitor brackets and
    the black shroud should be fitted by the
    shopfitter BEFORE the computer installation
    team arrive
•	 The tiles inside the shroud should be covered
    by BLACK vinyl by the sign contractor.
•	 ALL sockets and data points inside the
    shroud should be BLACK
•	 There are also angled front faced shrouds,
    so angled monitors sit confortably
•	 The boxes will have two sets of fixing holes to
    ensure left and right-handed mounting, so
    there is no need to order anything bespoke

Be aware that:
a) the makeline monitor should face towards
the counter
b) the monitor at the makeline - slap table
junction should face away from the makeline
c) the monitor near the front of the slap table
should face towards the makeline
