2.4 Wall Coverings

       2.4.1 White Tile (Feature)
       In both new build and retro fit projects, the White
       (feature) tile should generally extend from the
       bake and serve, through the sneeze screen and
       into the customer area. The white tile finish will,
       as a rule, make up 1/3 of the length of customer
       area wall before a change in wall finish occurs.
       In  all  instances  the  project  specific  drawings
       should be referenced.


       All  tiles  must  be  laid  with  4mm  grout  joints
       throughout.  Black  grout  to  all  white  ceramic
       tiling.

       NOTE: White (feature) tile to be Gloss white striped brick
       ‘Domino’s tile’ from Tiles UK (see suppliers contact sheet).
       White (feature) tile is a 500 x 200mm tile to be stack bonded
       in a landscape format.


       In new build stores the white (feature) tile is to
       be used throughout Bake and Serve and on all
       walls  within  customer  view,  as  well  as  coming
       forward into the customer eat in area to a
       suitable junction with a contrasting wall finish.
