Roxy
Adult/ Female/ Spayed
American Staffordshire Terrier Mix
Roxy is a 9, almost 10 year old American Staffordshire terrier mix who is a beautiful seal gray color and
was surrendered to the shelter due to a change in family dynamic. She arrived in our care with a terrible
staph infection throughout her skin (which has since healed beautifully) and had received no prior vet-
ting. She is now fully vetted, and waiting for her forever home (since October 2020) making her one of our
longest residents. Roxy was never socialized with other animals properly, so she must be the only pet in
the home. She loves all people, and has done well with children. She is housebroken and enjoys going for
shorter walks as she is developing arthritis and gets sore when she engages in too much exercise. She is a
stellar snuggler and snores when she sleeps. Roxy is stressed at the shelter because of all of the commo-
tion and animals, so she is currently in a foster home. Roxy is a strong girl but walks well on leash when
she doesn’t have something to pull towards that she really wants. She has been posted for adoption
numerous times and has attended countless adoption events with no interest. Can you be this beautiful
