Project 3: Back to the future

The third project came with many tasks. Most of the things required from the students are skills
that were expected to have been acquired during the projects done in the first half of the year.
Although a bit more challenging than the first two, this project delved into the interests of the

student as they had the choice of working on issues that interest them. One of the major things
looked at was how things that happened in the past affect current situations, decision making as

well as how people are treated. This is looking at the link between history and current social
situations. One learns how people have progressed and learned from past events as well as
how they have carried on from past traumatic experiences. It is believed that there is a lot to

learn from the past.

Using magazine cutouts, I made a collage that represented public perceptions of sport
personalities. How people see them compared to how they actually live their lives. This was

very interesting for me because not only did I get to do work on sports people, but I also got to
use some of my favorite football players as examples of this.
