You can choose to rule or ruin your life. If you cannot rule your
will, you cannot achieve anything, and self-discipline is the only
way forward to realize the value of life. Every parent wants to
see their child growing up to have con�idence in themselves and
command over their lives. I’m so happy to see that you have
learned many things in the two weeks of your programme
particularly the values of life. In Khasi we call this
‘Ka Jingsneng Tymmen’ (Teachings of our Elders). Avenues has
created a beautiful platform through Aspire Meghalaya for our
youth to inculcate values and con�idence and �ind their talents as
they prepare for life and their careers. through the dupport of
the Department of Arts & Culture and the patronage of the
Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the committed taem at Avenues we
are sure that these programmes will greatly improve the life
skills, soft skills and con�idence of our young ones across
the state.
