The Soft Skills & Talent Identification Intervention has been a landmark flagship initiative
taken up by the Department of Arts & Culture, Government of Meghalaya, that was geared
towards equipping young students with the life skills and coping strategies required to live
more wholesome, productive lives on the personal and professional fronts.
The initiative was intended to help youth discover and identify their aspirations through
intensive and high-impact workshops and camps that bolster confidence and morale,
encourage clarity of thought and purpose and recognize talents and strengths. The skills
taught served an added advantage of providing every participant with basic soft skills that
are important for any career.
