(Yoshi) Same thing the slave master said. (Mike) Yoshi, come on. No need
to fight with her. She can’t help herself as much as help us.
They walk away. Pick up the scene with Mike and Yoshi in Mike’s car.
(Yoshi) Now what? (Mike) I’m working on something, but let’s take it
slow. (Yoshi) Slow? I don’t have the luxury of time. Mr. Goza will want an
answer about what I’m doing with his money. (Mike) Relax; let’s get
something to eat at Engine Joe’s.
The car now reaches the entrance to the Indian Reservation.
(Gate Guard) Hi, how are you Mr. Kelly? (Mike) Fine. How are you Lue?
(Gate Guard) I’m fine. Long time, no see my friend. (Mike) You’re right.
I’ve had a lot of work to do these days. How is your family? (Gate Guard)
Good, good. Thanks for asking. Go right ahead. (Mike) Lue, I’ll see you
soon.
He drives off.
(Yoshi) I thought Indians didn’t like you Americans on their land. (Mike)
In a way, they don’t, but my relationship with the Indians go back several
years. I’ve done some developments on this land. (Yoshi) You didn’t tell
me about your past dealings with the Indians. You never cease to amaze
me. (Mike) Someday you’ll cut the slang.
They reach Engine Joe’s and get out the car to enter the restaurant.
(Yoshi) What’s up Mike? (Mike) What are you talking about? (Yoshi) My
slang, as you call it. Is that all? (Mike) No, is all that. You suck when you
try to talk slang. I keep telling you over and over again. (Yoshi) So. (Mike)
Cut it out, that’s all. (Yoshi) Ok, Ok, my wife told me the same thing.
(Waitress) Welcome to Engine Joe’s. May I take your order? (Mike) How
are you, Mrs. Lang? (Waitress) Oh my gosh! Hi, Mr. Kelly, how are you?
(Mike) Fine. I feel good for an old man. (Waitress) If you’re an old man,
I’ll take some of that any day. (Mike) Give me a moment to order.
