Oh, how sad is the life of any man,
Who departs from the pathway of God;
Who abandons their way to the heavens,
Due to walking in dark evil ways.

There's no peace in this world marked with hatred,
Never peace or a joy can be found;
Only Jesus has offered them to us,
He has offered them eternally.

My friend is Jesus, the best friend I have,
Tender and loving, none other like Him;
All of my life I will rest in his love,
Only in Him I'll be secure.
