As a sinner your life's full of sadness,
From living far away from my Jesus,
See Him calling with His sweet, tender voice,
He wants you to belong in His treasured flock.

If you're living today far from Jesus,
There is still a relief for your pain;
It's His sweet, tender voice that is calling,
Sinner, do not harden your heart anymore.

I used to walk in the paths of evil,
Scld and weak, living with grief and great pain;
1n all ways I off ended my Jesus,

Prayer is the means that the gracious Lord
Gave to His great flock that treads with fear,
When you read His word, you'll find within it,
Prayer brings you closer to the Lord and grants you peace.

Oh, to speak with Jesus, what great happiness!
And to tell him anything and everything;
Laying out to Him your necessities,
He will hear you from His heavenly throne up above.

And if you feel saddened, kneel and pray to God,
Speak unto the heavens, speak with all your heart;
It is a commandment that the Lord bestowed,
You will have an answer for He promised it to us.

If you're waiting for the Great Comforter,
Do not feel dismayed, wait with zeal and faith,
And when the Lord sees your unceasing plea,
He will send his Comforter and you shall be complete.
