It is my longing to be close to Christ Lord,
And with the saints I would like to live one day,
I know in heaven life is joyous forever,
There will be no pain, no anguish, and no tears.
                     234. LET US REJOICE

Let us rejoice and let us be glad and give him all glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb Jesus has come now,
And his bride has made herself all ready.
                              CHORUS
And all the nations that have been saved by Jesus,
In his light will walk through, forevermore,
And the kings of the earth will bring forth
                         Their glory and honor.
                                 2
To the Lord Jesus be all the power, throughout all the ages
He's the King of kings and the Lord of all lords,
Jesus Clirist who reigns in the heavens.
                                 3
Lord Jesus Christ will come to rise up all his faithful servants,
Come and congregate for the supper of the Lamb,
For the Lord Jesus Christ resurrected.
                                 4
And that city which he went to prepare is completely ready,
And the bride is dressed in bright white linen garments,
She's the church who's been purchased with his blood.
