Awaken, oh, great Church of God, and behold your ambassador,
He has given us God's doctrine, pure and perfect instructions
As the good Samaritan, he has healed and cured our wounds.

With a staff from our God, He governed his People well,
The grace that God gave him was salvation for our souls,
Come and drink all ye thirsty from this fountain full of love,
For the table is now ready, there is abundance of bread,
We cost him so many sufferings, but he now lives with the Lord.

Your children remember all of his labor and deeds,
He worked to save our souls, never stopping or resting,
But the good Lord gave him rest;
His great friend and Lord who sent him
The seeds he planted on this earth no one can uproot them,
His dear friend who had sustained him,
He will take care of this work.
