If you long to reach a lofty home,
And escape all sin and darkness here,
Let the precious light of God reside and shine in you,
Only then will you know bliss.

If we dwell within this light, this lovely light,
In the holy blood of Christ we shall be cleansed;
Shining grace and clarity will fill our hearts,
If we only dwell in light.

If HIS Holy Spirit shines as Comforter,
Light from heaven, shining with intensity;
Open up your heart and let Him dwell within,
HE will be your lasting light.

If someone is in Jesus they have been born anew,
The dross within their soul is now buried in the past;
While they were in their own life serving how they thought best,
They now know work for Jesus will never be in vain.

Let us all follow, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Only obeying, Him and His command;
And He will guide us in His path of light,
And He will bless us, as His faithful Church.

The Savior Jesus Christ is calling all the ill,
He takes away the burden the tempter placed on them;
And then with newfound freedom they move about with grace,
Letting the name of Jesus be known in every place.

The bible is our shield, our instruction and our guide,
It is just like a lighthouse that beams into the heart;
Then we receive the Promise that Jesus sent to us,
The strength to follow God's peace, God's joy and holy love.
