With the blood that's most precious, offered up on the cross,
A sublime, divine pathway, Jesus Christ paved for us;
Fearless I tread upon it, knowing I cannot fall,
For the Lord, so unwav'ring, He's so steadfast and constant;
Mighty keeper is He.

Through great sorrows and pain, His path I follow,
For the Lord ever watchful, shall surround me with love;
He has set great example; and has ciphered my longing,
I am longing for heaven; I shall meet with Him there.

Jesus Christ I will follow, Jesus Christ is my light,
He is all of my gladness; He is all of my health;
There beside him I long to live in eternal peace,
For I believe His promise, he shall quicken my spirit:
After my end of days.

Like the sweet scents of fragrance that the flowers expel,
As the divine aroma scattered round His great throne;
So are the words of wisdom to His children of light,
They are nourished by His words,
They are strengthened by His grace,
In his peace so divine.

I am walking through this life, solely led by my faith,
Clinging onto His promise, I shall be by His side;
And then when there before Him, I should hear His sweet voice,
With His words ever loving, as a fragrance of roses;
"Come to me, loyal soul."
