Give me more faith, my Savior King,

I walk along this pathway, strongly and faithful,
Unto the new Jerusalem;
In tribulations joyful, onward progressing,
To gaze upon the face of Christ.

In the meantime as a pilgrim,
I shall not weaken or fa int;
I shall always follow Thee Lord,
To the grand celestial place.

If thorns and a great ambush are in my pathway,
To scar my life, to turn my way;
It doesn't really matter, I keep on walking,
I long to see the face of Christ.

There shall be many hurdles, no doubt about it,
Because they're placed by Satan's hosts;
But Jesus Christ my Savior, will be by my side,
To triumph over them with strength.
