Thorn In The Heart

People were living in the crisis afraid of dying any time;
they hear the echo of bombs in the short distance. Live and dead
are only a second for the people living in the war zone, then they
will leave behind anything even their cold body without afraid
and sorrow, cause they could not die twice for worry all about.
Every their ambition, dreaming, and passions went with the
deadly sound of bomb or rocket that dropped and exploded on
their heads.

So many time the houses and people burst into pieces by the
thundered rockets of Viet-cong, or a single bullet flies through a
man head in suddenly. The current condition life between live
and dead of the people was happening to them anytime, while
they are busy making other plans for tomorrow living, and how
to escape out of the war zone if their place is the deadly
battlefield.

Nguyen always sat on the sofa in a silence of the dark when
he was home. His back lay deeply against the sofa, listens to the
soft music and warming himself with a cup of coffee that placed
on the living table.

He was always smoking, thought of the war, which
happened in his boyhood period and continuing occurred during
his lifetime. The leaders on both sides threw the flame of war on
over country, set the people’s living in the painful suffering of
death, poor, and made crisis economy for the country.

In the childhood, Nguyen saw Viet-Minh at midnight and
French colonial in the daytime. They rolled their cruel rules on
Vietnamese people by the dirty ambitions and deadly games for
the benefits, while he lived in the Thanh-Lap village of Ha-Dong
city. It was about 25 miles from the South of Hanoi capital and
closed Lim district, where was related to the Lim French
firebase.
