CARE AND MAINTENANCE
GENEO X is an electrical system, do not to spill any liquids on it nor clean under running water. When not in use, protect the system from dust and store system’s components in a cool and dry place.
CARE BETWEEN CUSTOMERS
Shall be applied after each customer treatment to the TriPollar RF Handpieces and their cradles according to the following procedure:
1. Turn main unit OFF by pressing the ON/OFF switch located on the back panel.
2. Disconnect the device from Power Supply with dry hands.
3. Remove the Handpieces from main unit.
4. For the TriPollar handpiece (Fig. 35, 36): take special care in
cleaning the electrodes as well as the areas in between the electrodes.
5. Apply the following cleaning steps to clean the handpieces:

6. Use a soft cloth, moistened with detergent solution 0.55% ortho-phthalaldehyde disinfectant for5 minutes (such as CIDEX® OPA1), to clean the Handpiece until it is visually clean.
7. Use a new soft cloth, moistened with tap water for 15 seconds, to remove detergent residuals.
8. Use a dry soft cloth to dry the Handpiece.
9. Use a soft cloth, moistened with medical grade 70% alcohol solution for 1 minute, to wipe the
Handpiece.
10. Spray the handpiece with medical grade 70% alcohol solution, then wipe with a dry soft cloth.
Be careful not to spill any liquids on or into the Handpiece.
11. If dirt residues were not fully removed, repeat cleaning steps 6-11.
12. Place the handpiece back in its handpiece cradle and air dry it.
Note: Handpieceshouldnotbe placedbackinthehandpiececradleholderuntilafter completion of the cleaning instructions.
DAILY CARE
Thorough cleaning instructions at the end of the day and at the beginning of the day (if the system is
not covered after last cleaning) for holder, main unit and touchscreen.
Note: Make sure the handpiece is turned OFF and then turn the Main Unit OFF before performing daily care.

For cleaning, wipe the Silicone Handpiece Cradle Holder with a soft, non-abrasive cloth moistened with a soap and water mixture. Be careful not to spill any liquids on the system.
For drying, wipe the Silicone Handpiece Cradle Holder with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and again, be careful not to spill any liquids on the system.
